HISTORY: mark's origin of existence can be found in deling city; a man and a woman, happily married, announce the news of baby number two to at a fancy, high-class get together among friends and all is well. both of his parents are good, peaceful people who study and practice medicine. his older brother is only ever a nuisance on certain occasions. there's never a day mark can recall hating where he lived. so, how does he end up in balamb garden (let alone, in the country of balamb)? it's an odd choice for him to make, he would agree. he could have stayed and pursued medicine to continue his parents legacy within deling, or gone a completely different path (like his sibling, with his choice of real estate). mark wanted to be able to do more, whatever that was supposed to include. the idea of attending a garden and becoming a mercenary was out of the question. war was on the horizon and his parents refused to let him go to galbadia garden. well, it's safe to say that balamb was a different story. his parents still don't like the idea of him pursuing the life of a seeD, but it's not galbadia. it doesn't instantly translate to mark going out to fight a fight he had nothing to do with. ETC: VISUALS: ― height: ~176 cm (~5’9″) (but he's still sorta growing...?) ― hair: currently brown/black ― fashion sense: when not in uniform, his style is a hybrid of street-wear and athletic-casual. he's not overly concerned with appearances unless he feels the need to look the part. * despite being from galbadia and usually referring to himself as being galbadian, he's not a big supporter of unnecessary war in any scenario and clearly has nothing against any other country. * the only side effect of time compression mark experiences is insomnia: it occurs once in awhile, and he usually uses the time to study or read. you won't catch him trying to sneak out because of boredom though. * mark has a fear of heights. this isn't really a secret. he prefers travel by boat or train. * triple triad 4 lyfe. plays mostly to reduce stress, but he's gotten pretty good at it.
